LFA and AILA co-hosted a webinar on 17 September featuring the two teams who took part in the 2024 Landscape Performance Case Studies Program. We were delighted by the interest shown in the work!

The two teams’ project assessments are now available at the links shown below. Each project is described in a Case Study Summary and a Methods Report.

Case Study Summary

This is a synopsis of the project, including: design and sustainability goals, specific design features and materials, and assessments of landscape performance benefits delivered in each of four sustainability categories: environmental social, economic, and cultural.

The final section is ‘Lessons Learned’. Here the researchers and practice partners reflect on what worked and what didn’t work, and what might be designed or constructed or managed differently in the future to deliver a more sustainable or effective project.

Methods Report

This report describes the research methods and processes the academic team used to assess the landscape performance benefits that appear in the Case Study Summary. These descriptions, including calculations, product information and/or plant lists, are meant to be understandable and encourage other practitioners and/or researchers to replicate them.
