The Landscape Foundation of Australia is delighted to welcome our first Founding Partner—Street Furniture Australia!

Long recognised as trailblazers in creating innovative, beautiful, and enduring furnishings for the public domain, Street Furniture Australia is a ‘natural’ partner for LFA. Their commitment to maintaining best practices in environmental management and to protecting and enhancing the natural environment is evident in all their design and production activities.

In announcing the new partnership, June Lee Boxsell, Street Furniture Australia’s Head of Marketing and Innovation, said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with the Landscape Foundation of Australia, which we see as an opportunity to further our support of healthy and enjoyable public spaces for many generations to come.”

As a market leader, Street Furniture Australia fully understands the necessity of research in the development and continuing improvement of their products. The company is also dedicated to supporting the professional development of their people. The emphasis on research and collaboration for positive change is an important way in which their values align with the Foundation’s.

LFA Director Linda Corkery said, “The issues of urban sustainability, building resilience, protecting and enhancing natural environments are ongoing and increasingly urgent. Street Furniture Australia shares our values in relation to these challenges and both organisations recognise that finding solutions will be achieved through engaging with bright minds and diverse perspectives.”

Through our fellowship and scholarship programs, the Foundation nurtures emerging leaders in professional fields and academic disciplines that will influence and shape future urban landscapes. As a Founding Partner, Street Furniture Australia will help expand LFA’s reach and amplify its impact for positive outcomes on existing and future urban landscapes across Australia.

Both organisations look forward to ongoing collaboration that will flow from this partnership as we work together to enhance the quality of the urban environments in cities and towns across Australia.

Thank you, Street Furniture Australia!
